Those three weeks were hot weeks, usually 28-32 degrees around midday. At that point we retreat into the shade of the bolly, or lounge on the balcony on the other side of the house where there is some shade to be had. By evening, the sun is fully round and the balcony becomes the place to enjoy a drink after dinner.
Right now I'm in the throes of catching up on laundry, re-stocking the fridge and all those perfectly boring but necessary household things.
